November 2025 brings many great movies, such as Wicked For Good, Zootopia 2, Stranger Things season 5, Playdate, and The Family Plan 2. When asked, students said they were most excited for Wicked For Good and Stranger Things season 5. “I am super excited for both of these,” explained Ren Tedmon (11), “I will be watching both as soon as they come out!”.
Stranger Things season 5 will consist of 8 episodes that will be released in 3 chunks. The first 4 episodes, “The Crawl,” “The Vanishing of …” (Rumored to be Holly Wheeler), “The Turnbow Trap,” and “Sorcerer” will be released on November 26. The second chunk will be released on December 25, and the final episode on December 31. Fans have been waiting for 3 years for the final season of this beloved show and are thrilled for the season’s debut. “These episodes are going to be sad but great,” says Hannah Baier (11)
Wicked For Good, releasing on November 21, 2025, is the second part to Wicked, released on November 22, 2024, which stars Ariana Grande as Glinda and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba. This is a highly anticipated sequel after the success of the first movie. The two-part series is a movie adaptation of Broadway’s Wicked, originally starring Kristin Chenoweth as Glinda and Idina Menzel as Elphaba. After waiting a year for the second film, fans are elated to see it in theaters. When asked about her thoughts on the film, Hailey Sporrer (12) said, “I saw the first one in theaters and am so excited to see the second one with my friends.”
Zootopia 2, a continuation of the 2016 film Zootopia, is a movie about Officer Judy Hopps and Officer Nick Wilde and their investigation of a reptile named Gary De’Snake, who arrived in Zootopia and disrupted the peace, causing the officers to go undercover.
Playdate, a movie starring Kevin James, Alan Ritchson, Sarah Chalke, Alan Tudyk, Stephen Root, and Isla Fisher, follows the story of two dads and the playdate between their kids.
The Family Plan 2 is a movie starring Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Monaghan, Zoe Colletti, Van Crosby, and Kit Harington, and it tells the tale of a family vacation gone wrong.
