Where are you going for Black Friday this year? As Thanksgiving wraps up, the fun continues the next day when Black Fridays deals hit the shelves. With long lines wrapped around buildings and carts ready fill the aisles. From various items to clothes and beauty and even electronics, people are eager to hunt down the best prices and get Christmas shopping done!
The deals aren’t only in stores, the excitement expands to online with sites like Amazon that participate in Black Friday deals and have some of the best steals yet. In fact, Amazon provides plenty of time to score deals by starting November 20th rather than the 28th. With two-day shipping and delivery, it’s one of the most popular shopping sites.
Other places that people love are Walmart, Target, and the Empire Mall. Deals at Target consist of 60% holiday decorations, 30% gaming accessories, and 50% off jewelry and handbags. These are only a few examples of the good deals; you can find the rest on the Target website. Places at the mall like Aerie, Dillard’s, and Dick’s are going to have amazing deals, such as BOGO pajama pants at Aerie, Dillards will have some of their famous brands 50% off, and up to 50% deals at Dick’s Sporting Goods.
On Black Friday, people are willing to lose sleep over deals. When asked how early she would wake up for a sale, junior Esena Suljic responded, “probably 9 AM.” She explained,”I don’t think Black Friday is the rave it used to be because now sales are online and start before Black Friday.” Over the years, as online became more popular, shopping has become much easier for people, which has its pros and cons. With sales starting the week of Thanksgiving and lasting until the following Monday, known as Cyber Monday, the craze of being out shopping decreases.
As you prepare your shopping list for the upcoming weeks, make sure you keep in mind all the best deals and score what you want. Don’t forget to set your alarm clock!
