Gabe Ralston was recently awarded Activity Leader of the Month. He was recognized for his outstanding leadership, pride, and school spirit during the football games. This title shows his dedication to bringing students and athletes together and building up the Cav pride. Whether he’s hyping up the crowd at the football game or encouraging his teammates during practice, Ralston’s positivity and determination shines through in everything he does.
When asked what Activity Leader of the Month means to him, he said, “It feels great to be awarded that, and it’s a standard of being on the football team. It just means that it’s good to be a good person in general.” His humility perfectly reflects the kind of person he is.
Ralston has one goal this month and next month: win the South Dakota State Tournament for football. After a busy week of football practice and ending the week with a football game, Gabe likes to unwind with a Baja Blast from Taco Bell, go home, and watch a movie.
Gabe Ralston’s favorite quote,“If you aren’t first, you’re last,” perfectly captures his drive and determination, both on and off the field.
